Jesse Yang Week 5 HW line + Tonals
Hope y'all had a great week! Here is the initial line drawing and the possible tonal studies. I am trying to give this piece a more eerie mood. Any C+C are welcomed! See you guys in class!
Nice work. Your drawing feels more solid than your last piece. Your attention to detail in the organic elements shows. The design of the house and nearby foliage could be fleshed out more. Besides reference, try to give the house more character i.e. decrepid, aged, slowly sinking into the marsh. The dark mood is working in the tonals. Consider how light interacts with the environment. Shadows and atmosphere would help.
