Jesse Yang HW 4 Revision + thumbnails

Here's the revision rough based from the paint over.

Here are some thumbnails for my next piece. For these thumbnails, I have changed the setting for my story a little, having it more fantasy based.

Hope to see y'all in class!

Cheers~

Joanna Soohee Han Week 4 HW

I had an extremely busy weekend and I didn't think I'd be able to make it for this class but I tried to come up with some really quick ideas that will ultimately get changed dramatically.
The first one is a take on Alice encountering the singing flowers while the last two are Alice encountering the caterpillar. I think I may like the composition on the third one the most. But I definitely need to change the values around.

Kristine Macasieb: Exterior Architecture BW and Color

From last week, I redid the values from my last piece. I also placed some colors, but I kept it rough because it will probably need changing.

My organic thumbs are on the way.

Jasmine Lee // Progress

As for the painting progress, this is where I am:

It still needs a lot of work, but I'm learning a lot and having fun.
I'll see you all in class!

Demo: Fantasy Architecture/Landscape Painting

This image evolved from an experiment in fantasy gothic architecture to a layout of a game-like environment to finally a color sketch of a cinematic moment.  Some parts were successfully digitally rendered.  This piece would have benefited from a more solid drawing before moving into color.

Jasmine Lee // Week 4 Assignment

I hope everyone had a well-rested holiday weekend!

I was going to do an interior this time but then I wanted to practice more exterior environment. So, I've decided to design the wilderness of Narnia from Prince Caspian, where the main characters are lost in the forest, and Lucy finds Aslan the Great Lion.

Here are some thumbnail sketches:
